Remembrance Day in Toronto's West End

With Remembrance Day just around the corner, I want to remind friends and neighbours in Toronto's West End to check out the special edition of Neigburs: https://neighbur.net/past-issues/ This includes a significant amount of content about West End Toronto warriors from WWII and a history of the amazing program "They Walked These Streets" found on Facebook

I've contributed a short piece on Frederick Topham, who was awarded a Victoria Cross in WWII.

Finally, there is a presentation on Tuesday, November 5 at the Runnymede United Church on the over 1,200 people from our West End neighbourhoods who were killed while fighting for Canada.
